Horrors

It’s actually raining. This is quite unusual in Nuevo Vallarta at this time of year. It has been cool for a few days with threats of rain, but now it is actually raining enough that we left the beach. In 8 years of coming here I think it has only rained once, at least enough to make us change our plans. The forecast is for this unsettled weather to continue until the weekend. People are quite put out as the reason they come here is to enjoy the reliable fine weather. We don’t really mind but we have the luxury of being here for 9 weeks, so a few inferior days don’t really matter. And as we keep telling ourselves, it’s not snowing!
