Welcome to
Wandering with Wendy

Wandering with Wendy is my personal travel blog. I’ve always been an avid traveler. In my early twenties, I drove east across Canada with one of my closest friend, returned home (Ontario) for a couple of weeks then drove out to British Columbia with my brother. Through work and personal vacation, I’ve visited many beautiful cities: London, Rome, Florence, Venice, Istanbul, Hawaii, Puerto Vallarta, etc. As a recent retiree, I plan on continuing to explore the world, starting in my home country of Canada with a tour of the Great Lakes. This blog is a place where I will share my travel experiences with friends and family. I hope you enjoy following my adventures.

Horrors
It’s actually raining. This is quite unusual in Nuevo Vallarta at this time of year. It has been cool for a few days with threats of rain, but now it is actually raining enough that we left the beach. In 8 years of coming here I think it has only rained once, at least enough… Read more

Bucerias, Mexico
We went on a little adventure today, visiting the nearby town of Bucerias. We intended to take the bus but were given conflicting information about how to do that so decided to be lazy and took an Uber which worked out perfectly. There were four things we wanted to do. Find some nice mugs, get… Read more
