My first post

My wonderful children created this site for me as a Christmas present and this is my first opportunity to try it out. I am sitting on the balcony in Nuevo Vallarta overlooking the Bahia de Banderas. It was chilly when I got up so am wearing a Muskoka Bear Wear sweater but by chilly I mean 15° C not O° C as it is at home. The forecast is 27° C every day this week. It certainly makes the trip here worthwhile although it was exhausting. It is hard to believe that sitting on a plane can be so tiring. It is not as though we had to actually do anything. However, all the stress of making sure everything was done before we left, getting up early, wondering if all the elements involved in getting here were going to align properly and waiting patiently through delays, all culminated in 3 travellers arriving in Nuevo Vallarta in the afternoon weary and hungry. Quesadillas on the beach solved the hunger, a short nap by the pool helped a bit with the weariness, and eventually a good night’s sleep helped immensely. Now coffee on the balcony overlooking the bay is the final restorative step!
